@ganondorf59 In my opinion, T3 was the derailing of the series for me. T3 also had horrible plot holes, terrible acting, abysmal logic, and incredibly stupid one-liners that made Arnold look like the generic action hero with a line to back him up. The movie felt as if it was there to just completely terminate the series, and in truth, it WAS. T3 writer John Brancato’s blogspot says it all. T3 was a big-budget attempt at franchise assassination. At least T4 tried, yet still fell hard.

Arnold wasn’t built …
Arnold wasn’t built off of Marcus… Marcus was supposed to infiltrate and identify Connor and Reese. He had nothing to do with the development of the T-800.
And Connor was just downright ignorant. Talked down to everyone, always had to feel superior and shit. It was kinda obvious and “in your face” that Wright didn’t want to kill anyone. He didn’t even know who Kyle Reese was.
