How do you transfer video clips into an ipod nano?

Posted by admin on March 2nd, 2010 and filed under video clips | 6 Comments »

I got an ipod nano and i downloaded video clips using real player but whenever i drag it into my playlist, it says it cannot be played using this ipod.
How do i do it?

Before you drag the video to your ipod, check the video is in mp4 format with H.264. If your video is other format, say .wmv, .rmvb or .avi, then you must convert it to mp4. To do this, you can use some video converter, Moyea Video4Web Converter….http://www.flash-video-mx.com/video4web-converter/ is terrific.
It is a freeware to convert video to mp4 with H.264. You can easily do a lot of settings to your video using this program. I have tested in my own machine and it works right. There is also a tutorial for this program you can see it here: http://www.flash-video-mx.com/video4web-converter/tutorial/

iPod can only support mpeg4 video,so you must make sure the video is mp4 format ,you need to have a 3rd party tool to help you to convert dvds and video into mp4 or h264 format, add them into itunes library, then sync to ipod.

Try Cucusoft ipod video converter,it support convert DVD to iPod directly. Some other software need two steps: 1. convert DVD to avi; 2. convert output avi to iPod. That solution wastes lots of your time. We need only one step, direct convert video DVD to iPod. So this converter speed is far faster than others

I hope it can be helpful to you!

You need to transfer your video clips to the formats that iPod can understand.
I came across the same problem before, and my friend recommended Avex DVD to iPod Video Suite to me. And it worked pretty well for me.

I find a good protected M4P music converter at http://www.protectedmusicconverter.net. It provides a perfect protected music converter that could convert protected M4P to MP3 for rhapsody, protected WMA to MP3 for PSP, etc. files. You can have a free test before ordering a full version.
