How do you make videos (that you own) available for podcasts so people can subscribe to them on iTunes? Is there a software tool to do this that converts the video? Also, is there any cost involved with iTunes or do they have to approve your it? I’m talking about offering video podcasts for free.

It takes about 13 minutes to download a semi-long 7-minute video from the Internet. I use RealPlayer, and it downloads directly from the website but it takes too long for certain videos. How can I crop a YouTube video BEFORE downloading it to my computer? What websites would actually crop the video for me, instead of altering the code?

if you want to crop a video use video pad editor or cyberlink powerdirector
as far as downloading use ant video downloader to download from almost any site then increase speed with firedownload you need klite megacodec pack however to play the videos in the best player of them all windows media player

What video editing software should I use to render my gameplay videos?

I use FRAPs camera and currently power director 9 to edit my videos but my videos turn out bad. Is there any really good software I can use? I don’t care about price. Its worth it.

If you were to use Camtasia for your computer games, the built in editor in Camtasia is decent enough to get by with. For general gameplay, I would recommend Sony Vegas. The functionality for everything you can accomplish is well worth it.

I wanted to make videos that i want to eventually put on the computer, maybe youtube. i want something that will record videos, maybe from my computer as a web cast or something, and i want something cheap and gives clear videos and good audio.

Consumer level HD camcorders have 4 problems. 1) Blurry, fuzzy, out of focus areas closely around people in videos taken by consumer level HD camcorders. 2) Any movement, even a wave or lifting an arm, while in front of a recording consumer level HD camcorder, results in screen ghosts and artifacts being left on the video track, following the movement. Makes for bad video, sports videos are unwatchable. 3) These Consumer level HD camcorders all have a habit of the transferred to computer files are something you need to convert, thus losing your HD quality, to work with your editing software. 4) Mandatory maximum record times – 1 hour, 30 minutes, 8 minutes, 3 minutes – four different times advertised as maximum record time for some consumer level HD camcorders. No event I have ever been to is that short. Either take multiple camcorders or pack up with out getting the end of the event on video.

With a MiniDV tape camcorder, record 60 or 90 minutes ( camcorder settings), 90 seconds or less to change a tape and record for 60 or 90 more and repeat till you run out of tapes.

You can get a Canon ZR960 for $250. It is a MiniDV tape camcorder, has a Mic jack. You need a firewire (IEEE1394) card ($25 to 30) for the computer and a firewire cable (less than 10) to be able to transfer video to your computer. To say this is not HD, think about this. It would cost in excess of $3500 to get a HD camcorder that could equal the video Quality of a $250 Canon MiniDV tape camcorder.

Well, I recently recored a video using my webcam on facebook and posted on my friends wall. Is there anyway to upload the video so it can be in my videos as well? Thanks:)!

The only way to do that is if you made the video individually on the webcam itself and saved it on a file/folder. Then you could upload the video onto facebook and youtube successfully
