I recorded some video on a Panasonic camcorder. However, iMovie does not seem to recognize the camera and won’t let me import the clips. My friend has Windows Vista, and he can import them onto his computer. However, I want to edit them in iMovie. Is there a way to transfer the video clips from his computer to mine via the Internet, while still maintaining full quality?

iMovie will automatically detect when you have a FireWire camcorder connected. If you see the message No Camera Attached, make sure your camera is turned on and properly plugged in to your computer via a FireWire cable and that your camcorder is set to VCR, VTR, or Play mode.

Another way to import vids to iMovie is to convert the file to mp4 or mov format first. You can’t read the vid even it’s sent from your friend’s PC. I use iskysoft video converter and the quality is state-of-the-art! http://www.iskysoft.com/video-converter-mac.html

Ok so i get videos off of youtube onto my ipod, and i want some nice awesome funny videos (wether its failing, or a prank) or something like that. Thanks

the hot to be vids are super funny: how to be gangster, how to be ninja, how to be emo, how to be nerd, etc.

I’ll have videos on my camera and when i load them to my computer the videos automatically become a still picture from the begining of the video. I’ve tried opening the video gone picture to Windows Media but that doesn’t work because its a pciture. HELP!

How are you "loading" them?

I don’t connect the digital still camera to the computer for picture or video transfer. I take the memory card out of the DSC and use a card ready to copy the videos to a folder.

is an American rock band formed in 1978. The band achieved its greatest success in the 1980s with its pop-rock sound, which garnered many charting singles, especially in the United States. The band is best known for its 1982 hit “Eye of the Tiger”, the theme song for the motion picture Rocky III (US #1). Singles like “Burning Heart” (US #2), “The Search Is Over” (#4 US), “High on You” (#8 US) and “I Can’t Hold Back (US #13) continued to chart in the mid-1980s.

The band tweaked its musical direction in 1988 with the release of the slightly heavier Too Hot to Sleep, but due to changes in the music industry and shift of popularity towards bands like Mötley Crüe and Poison, the album barely reached the Billboard 200 in the United States. Because of this, the band split. Singer Jimi Jamison later toured as “Survivor” in the mid-1990s, to the chagrin of the rest of the band. Jamison re-united with the band’s other members in 2000 and the band released Reach in 2006, but Jamison left the band after its release and was replaced by Robin McAuley. The band has continued to tour with McAuley into 2008.

“Eye of the Tiger” is a song performed by the American rock group Survivor, and is taken from the album of the same name. It was released on January 1st, 1982, and was written at the request of Sylvester Stallone for the film Rocky III. The original mix of the song, heard in the film, features tiger growls, though the single omits them.

A formação original era composta por Frankie Sullivan, Jim Peterik, Dave Bickler, Dennis Johnson e Gary Smith. Eye of the Tiger é uma música executada pela banda de rock estadunidense Survivor. Foi lançada em 1 de Janeiro de 1982 e foi escrita a pedido do filme Rocky III estrelado por Sylvester Stallone. Tornou-se popular como hino esportivo, especialmente no boxe, e por um curto período foi o tema de entrada do competidor de luta-livre Hulk Hogan. A música também foi satirizada, tal como no trailer e campanha do filme de Will Ferrell, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, lançado em Agosto de 2006.

A canção permeneceu no Billboard Hot 100 por seis semanas, a partir 24 de Julho de 1982. Ela foi precedida por “Don’t You Want Me” da Human League e seguida de “Abracadabra” da banda de Steve Miller. “Eye of the Tiger” também alcançou a primeira posição no Reino Unido e Austrália. Ganhou um Prêmio Grammy.
